As CFC set out to consolidate two London sites into a single new headquarters, the team wanted to create a workplace that truly reflected its technology‑first approach. The new space needed to demonstrate the value of the office to employees while supporting fluid collaboration across a global workforce. CFC envisioned a smart building experience with an intuitive AV backbone that would impress clients, empower employees, and clearly showcase its commitment to innovation.

CFC had an established relationship with Kinly, who it trusted as a partner due to their deep understanding of their previous CFC locations. This meant Kinly already had the foundation needed to deliver a solution that was dependable, scalable, and design-forward.  Kinly turned to Crestron solutions for space management, video conferencing capabilities, and a control platform that would provide a consistent and intuitive user experience throughout the new space.

the technology

While the technical capabilities of the solutions would be important, CFC also valued the look and feel of the technology as they wanted it to match the interior design elements around the office. Crestron Flex video conferencing, touch screens, and room scheduling panels provide a modern technology appeal to the architecture while granting intuitive meeting management across all spaces. The room scheduling panels clearly show availability through green and red light indicators, combining instant usability with a sleek aesthetic that visually integrates with the environment. In all rooms, wireless content sharing is enabled through the Crestron AirMedia® wireless presentation system, enabling users to connect and present quickly to support faster meeting start times and improved productivity.

The executive boardrooms at CFC are equipped with Crestron 1 Beyond cameras, using multiple angles and intelligent tracking to create a natural video experience that closely mirrors in-person conversations. Even in spaces with challenging lighting conditions, the Crestron 1 Beyond system delivers a level of realism and engagement that surpasses standard conferencing solutions, supporting high-quality hybrid collaboration for internal and client meetings.

The Crestron control system was chosen as the centralized backbone to support CFC’s goal to future-proof the workplace.
