Crestron Device Assistant App for iPhone® Devices

A mobile app for Apple® iPhone® devices that claims supported Crestron devices into the XiO Cloud® service and allows for simple commissioning of the DSS‑100 Desk Scheduling Status Indicator. Also allows the HR-CV-MINI remote to be commissioned via NFC communications.

The Crestron Device Assistant app (DEVICE‑ASSISTANT) is a mobile application for Apple® iPhone® devices that claims supported Crestron devices into the XiO Cloud® service.1 Simply scan the MAC address and serial number label on the device when prompted, and the Crestron Device Assistant app will claim the device into the XiO Cloud service in only a few steps.2,3

The Crestron Device Assistant app can be used to commission the DSS‑100 Desk Scheduling Status Indicator over Bluetooth® communications. After a BLE connection has been established, the Crestron Device Assistant app is used to claim the device into the XiO Cloud service and place it on the Wi‑Fi® network.2,3

The Crestron Device Assistant app can also be used to commission the HR-CV-MINI Cevo Mini Handheld Remote over NFC communications. After a connection has been established, the Crestron Device Assistant app is used to place the remote on the Wi-Fi network, allowing it to be paired with a Crestron Home® OS system.2
