Where elegance meets precision, Crestron Horizontal Sheer Shades (CS-SHADE-ROLLER-HSHEER) delicately layer sheer fabrics and floating vanes to offer seamless control of natural light, gently filtering daylight or ensuring privacy, with effortless automation. The Horizontal Sheer Shades are available in three fabric collections with a modern, sophisticated color palette, each offering two opacity options for effective light control.

Sophisticated Design
Horizontal Sheer Shades feature elegant fabric vanes suspended between two layers of sheer fabric, offering
windows with a refined and timeless look. Large 3-inch vanes provide an approximately 1.5-inch view when the vanes are tilted open.

Fabric Options
The portfolio features Telluride, Vail, and Keystone fabric collections, each available in several color options designed to complement any interior design style. 

Light Control
The sheer fabric diffuses harsh sunlight, creating a warm, inviting glow in your room while reducing glare. Select from Translucent and Light-Dimming opacity options.

Privacy and UV Protection
While diffusing sunlight, the dual layers of sheer fabric also help filter out harmful UV rays, protecting furniture, flooring, and artwork from fading and damage.

Adjustable Vanes
Easily adjust the fabric vanes to control the amount of light entering the room. Open vanes provide UV protection, while closed vanes offer even more.

Enhanced Privacy
The horizontal vanes tilt to various angles and allow natural light into the room. The sheer fabric layers obscure the view from outside, ensuring privacy without completely blocking the view.

Size Options (Manual and Motorized)
Horizontal Sheer Shades are available for windows up to 8 ft x 8 ft (244 cm x 244 cm). The minimum width requirement is 17.5 in. (45 cm). 

Mount Options
Universal mounting brackets allow for inside- and outsidemount applications. Optional Top and Back cover and
recessed pocket mounting are available. Brackets are field configurable for the left- or right-side mount.

Motor Mount or Manual Clutch Options
The motor mount or manual clutch are field configurable for the left- or right-side mount.

Top Treatments
Choose between a fascia with fabric insert or a painted fascia, available in five colors: white, almond, gray, brown, and black. Select hardware colors for both the fascia (and end caps) and manual bead chains. Bottom rails and end caps are preselected by Crestron to coordinate with the fabric. Customers determine the top treatment and chain selections.
 
Manual or Motorized Operation
As part of a complete Crestron automation system, Crestron horizontal sheers can be motorized and controlled using a choice of keypads, touch screens, handheld remotes, and mobile devices. Motorized operation enables sophisticated automation as part of a complete Crestron lighting control system, with the ability to set and recall lighting and shading scenes at the press of a button or according to a schedule. Patented Digital QMT® shade motors (CSM-QMTDC-163-1 series) provide silent and robust operation with precise positioning.
 
Control system integration is provided through a choice of Cresnet® (wired) or infiNET EX® (wireless) options. 24VDC power is provided by a local outlet-mounted power supply (CSA-PWS40) or centralized intelligent 10-motor power supply (CSA-PWS10S-HUB-ENET). For non-motorized applications, a manually-operated option with beaded pull chain is available.

To ensure child-safety, the manual clutch roller shades are equipped with a Chainhold Tension Device. This device is integrated into the product during manufacturing and cannot be removed without breaking. The tension device maintains tension on the chain when installed properly. If not properly installed, it prevents the shade from fully operating. This safety feature is designed to prevent accidental strangulation and ensures the safety of children.
 
Easy, Versatile Installation
Included hardware supports mounting within the window jamb (inside mount) or to the window casing, wall, or ceiling surface (mount). The complete system is very compact, allowing it to fit in tight spaces and achieve an unobtrusive appearance. A decorative curved front fascia with matching fabric insert is included to conceal the roller assembly and mounting brackets. Optional end caps provide a finished appearance for outside mount applications. An optional top/back cover can be added for a fully concealed appearance. A recess-mount pocket option is also available to allow the roller assembly and mounting hardware to be concealed in a ceiling or soffit.
Snap-fit installation of every concealment option affords a clean appearance with no visible screws. All Crestron horizontal sheers are field-configurable to allow the motor wiring or pull chain to be positioned at the left or right side. Complete installation is engineered to be quick and easy with simple, precise adjustments for flawless, long-life operation. The roller and motor assembly simply snaps into the mounting brackets, and a quick release button allows for easy removal without any special tools. The supplied brackets can accommodate both manual and motorized shades, allowing a manual shade to be upgraded to motorized at any time without replacing hardware.
