  • 8 Low Voltage Relay Closures
  • 8-pin Versiport
  • Digital I/O, Analog inputs

Crestron's revolutionary e-Control&153; technology provides corporations, universities, government and entertainment facilities the ability to share audio and video sources, exchange data, and interact with locations around the world via Ethernet.

Superb for environmental control applications, the CEN-IO is an Ethernet interface device for relay closure outputs and Versiport input/outputs. Each connection on the CEN-IO can detect contact closure, digital/analog input/outputs, and provides dry contact closure outputs.

Just as with all Crestron control systems and touchpanels, all of the CEN thin server products feature the company's award-winning e-Control technology. Like the rest of the CEN family, CEN-IO provides an open architecture platform for communication and control.

The CEN-IO includes a power pack and contains eight Versiports, which are set via software to act as digital inputs, contact closure to ground (outputs), or analog inputs 0-10V.

To build a system with the CEN-IO, simply start with any Crestron CNX control system (CNMSX-PRO, CNMSX-AV, or CNRACKX) and connect it to any off-the-shelf Ethernet hub. The CEN-IO can then be connected over standard Cat5 wiring to create a real time environmental control solution with the peerless performance of Crestron e-Control. Plus, since all signals are monitored and controlled via 10BaseT Ethernet using standard IP, no computer, proprietary software or extensive training is required.

Crestron's Software Development Kit provides all of the software tools needed to link third party software packages such as Visual Basic, C++, Delphi or HTML for direct control of any device connected to the CEN-IO, using Crestron's ActiveX objects and Java applets.
