        MMX-6-USB

        6-Channel USB Microphone Mixer

Provides a microphone mixer and preamp for Crestron RL® 2 and other applications. Includes analog and USB 2.0 outputs.

The MMX-6-USB is a compact and cost-efficient stereo microphone mixer, designed to allow up to six dynamic or condenser microphones to be connected to a CaptureLiveHD® system. Its unique housing design allows for installation virtually anywhere, including under a table, on a wall, or in an equipment rack. It can also be used as a microphone preamp for devices like the Capture HD® High-Definition Capture Recorder (CAPTURE-HD), which does not have a mic preamp on board.

        Professional Features

To ensure compatibility with a full range of microphone types, the MMX-6-USB features individually selectable 48 Volt phantom power on each of its six inputs. Each input offers a 90 dB adjustment range, with up to 60 dB of gain available. Any input may be assigned to either or both channels of the mixer’s stereo output. A low-cut filter is also provided at the output to reduce low-frequency rumble noise if required. Input and output indicators provide clear indication of signal presence and clipping for easy setup. All controls on the MMX-6-USB are screwdriver adjustable to prevent accidental changes to the settings once the unit is installed and set up.

        USB and Analog Outputs

With both USB 2.0 and analog line-level outputs, the MMX-6-USB works with a wide range of devices and applications. Its USB output allows for direct connection to a Mac® or Windows® PC. The balanced analog output allows for connection to a stereo or mono line-level input on any conventional audio device. The USB and analog outputs contain the same audio signal and may be used simultaneously.

        Integrator Friendly Enclosure

The MMX-6-USB features the Crestron IFE form factor, a compact “Integrator Friendly Enclosure” design that fits almost anywhere and enables a variety of installation options. Its shape allows multiple mixers and other IFE compliant devices to be stacked together. Using the included mounting bracket, it can be fastened to any flat surface or snapped onto a standard DIN rail. A rack mount kit is also available separately.
