        The M&M'S World store in New York, one of only three stores of its kind, uses high-tech audio/video equipment and a Crestron control system to create an interactive experience that blends the concepts of theme park attraction, tourist site, and retail environment. The three-level installation includes zoned paging systems and background music on every level, controlled through a Crestron system with a wired 10-inch touchpanel and a portable WiFi panel for remote control from any location. The systems are easy to use: In the morning, the store manager fires up the systems storewide with the touch of one button.

        Crestron Program to Provide Home Entertainment for Heroes

        Conceived by Crestron founder/president George Feldstein, the Eagles Program is an effort to provide military hospitals with state-of-the-art home theater for use by injured service men and women and their families. The program commenced with donations to Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital in Washington, D.C., and The Wounded Warriors Battalion East at Camp Lejune in Charlotte, North Carolina. Crestron reached out to local installers and electronics providers in order to offer install the systems for those who have sacrificed for their country.

        With an all-new Crestron automation system turning guests into Crestron enthusiasts, the MGM Grand Macau Casino Resort is one hotel and casino that is leaving very little to chance. All the villas and suites are designed to convey the ultimate in luxurious living. At the mere touch of a button guests can control lighting, AV, air-conditioning, drapes - even in-room karaoke. Additionally, Crestron dimmer modules are used throughout the resort to adjust non-private interior lighting depending on the time of day - greatly reducing the manpower needed to handle these tasks manually. The successes with the guest rooms have led to plans to install Crestron solutions in the VIP casino extension, VIP gaming rooms and future Duplex villas.
