        Crestron Introduces Mobile Access to Enterprise Technology

        New PinPoint™ Mobile app empowers knowledge workers to manage their schedules and control meetings from mobile devices

        The new Crestron PinPoint™ Mobile app makes enterprise technology a personal tool that you carry in the palm of your hand. Now, knowledge workers can perform all the calendar and scheduling functions they previously could only perform at their desks, anywhere, anytime, from their mobile devices.

        With the PinPoint Mobile app, the full enterprise infrastructure is always available to you, so workflow and productivity are uninterrupted. See your calendar at all times. Find an available meeting room, book it, and invite attendees, all while waiting in line at the coffee shop. When entering a meeting, instantly take control of the room using the same app.

        How it works
        Enter the room for a meeting you scheduled, and the room can automatically “wake up” to your personal room settings preferences (set through the app interface) and start the meeting. Take control of everything in the room from the same app – AV, lights, temperature, and shades. Launch Crestron AirMedia™ (AM-100) and start a BYOD presentation. For a scheduled videoconference, tap the app to automatically turn on the room display, lower the shades, dim the lights, and dial up the invited attendees.

        During the meeting, book your next meeting, on the spot. Communicating with Crestron PinPoint™ Proximity Detection Beacons (PP-100) installed in rooms throughout the building, the PinPoint Mobile app can display the nearest available meeting rooms and huddle spaces whenever you need one.
