Orlando, FL – June 10, 2019 – At InfoComm® 2019, Crestron, a global leader in workplace technology, is debuting Crestron Mercury X, the latest evolution of its industry-leading tabletop meeting and collaboration solution. Crestron Mercury X connects to the front of the room with just a single cable. At the core of the new Crestron Flex M-Series MX models, Crestron Mercury X also offers the flexibility to run native software, including Microsoft Teams® and Zoom Rooms, and BYOD on the same device. Crestron Mercury X, and all Crestron Mercury models, will also feature a more modern UI for a simpler user experience. Live demonstrations of Crestron Mercury X and the new UI are available at booth #1800, Orange County Convention Center.

“Our customers spoke and we listened,” said Joe Sarrasin, Technology Manager, Unified Communications at Crestron. “Crestron Mercury X and the redesigned UI are the latest products of the on-going evolution of Crestron Mercury. They were developed in direct response to requests for a simple ‘one-cable-to-table’ connection and a cleaner, simpler user experience.”

        Simpler user experience
The redesigned UI will ship with all new Crestron Mercury units this summer. Currently installed devices can easily upgrade to the new UI via free firmware. The UI makes it easier for users to access what they need with more information on the home page and call screens, including room schedule, status, and availability.
