        • Isys Graphics Engine

The Isys TPS-5000 touchpanel provides a world of control and connectivity in a strikingly stylish tiltcase design. Astounding color graphics and a large 12" touchscreen display invite the touch, presenting a control solution that's both elegant and functional. Only Crestron Isys touchpanels combine vibrant high-resolution control graphics with up to three scalable real-time computer and video windows, plus built-in amplified speakers and microphone, all in one sleek modular package.

        Touchpanel Control

For the most elegant corporate boardroom, high-tech home automation system, or mission critical command center, engineers know that today's touchpanel control applications demand a higher level of performance while clients expect good looks that reflect their sophisticated tastes. Isys touchpanels meet that challenge. Combining great looks and ergonomics with Crestron's revolutionary Isys engine, Synapse™ graphics, and a bright 800 x 600 active matrix display, the TPS-5000 produces a stunning graphical user interface that's also functional and enjoyable to use.

        Real-time Computer Display

Adding an RGB graphics card to the TPS-5000 enables the display of computer signals with resolutions up to 1600 x 1200. Built-in scaling permits display of the computer signal in any sized window. Computers displayed on the TPS-5000 may even be controlled through the touchpanel using Crestron's exclusive "Touch-the-PC" technology, which allows real-time touchpanel navigation of any Windows® PC through a direct high-speed serial connection. Similarly, the TPS-5000 may be used as a convenient front end for video annotation and telestration systems.

        Dual Video Windows

The simple installation of a video card enables the display of one or two simultaneous full-motion video signals. The TPS video card supports NTSC and PAL formats and auto-detects between composite and S-Video sources. Video can be displayed full-screen or in preview windows of any size. Advanced gamma correction is employed to ensure accurate color reproduction. Built-in time base correction maintains a jitter-free image.

        Built-in Audio

Audio features include built-in amplified stereo speakers, volume control, line-level stereo input, and a microphone with automatic gain control and line-level output. The speakers may be used to amplify signals from TV and multimedia sources, or to support programmable intercom functionality in combination with the microphone. Customized WAV files may be loaded on the touchpanel to provide audible feedback, button clicks, voice prompts, and more.

        Ethernet Connectivity

Cresnet communication is native to all Crestron touchpanels, providing for compatibility with any Crestron control system. The addition of an optional high-speed Ethernet card expands the TPS-5000's capability as a global control device, communicating directly over IP to multiple control systems throughout a campus facility, or worldwide.

        Versatile Design

For enhanced ergonomics, the TPS-5000 features a unique tiltcase design. The soft-touch position lock mechanism is easy to operate and provides steadfast support at any angle of inclination between 30 and 80 degrees. Numerous wiring and mounting options are available. High-performance wireless operation is also offered through the addition of a 2-way spread spectrum wireless module.
