The C2N-NPA8 Cresnet Network Poll Accelerator works with a 2-Series control system to maintain a high level of performance and reliability for systems having a large number of Cresnet devices. The C2N-NPA8 effectively multiplies Cresnet bandwidth by implementing eight simultaneous Cresnet networks or "segments." Each segment operates independently to maintain full Cresnet bandwidth and provide isolation from network faults. In addition, each segment has a "network analyzer" built in to provide instantaneous network analysis.

For convenience, four 4-pin Cresnet connectors are provided for each segment, thirty-two in all. The C2N-NPA8 interfaces with the control system via high-speed RS-422 through a designated COM port, or by 10/100BaseT Ethernet.
The C2N-NPA8 can be installed in a Crestron CAEN Automation Enclosure using the optional CAEN-MK (sold separately), or rack mounted using the optional C2N-RMAK (sold separately). The C2N-NPA8 is designed to install along with the C2N-SPWS300 300 Watt Cresnet power supply to provide a clean, convenient centralized distribution solution for wiring large Cresnet networks.
