Rockleigh, NJ – December 4, 2017 – Crestron, a global leader in enterprise control and automation technology, announced today it is now shipping the DMPS3-4K-350-C and DMPS3-4K-250-C 3-Series® 4K60 DigitalMedia™ Presentation Systems. The new models add a built-in Crestron AirMedia® wireless presentation gateway, H.264 video receiver, content LAN, higher-powered amplifier, and onscreen display to the already robust feature set which includes 4K60 video, full support for HDCP 2.2, and a Control Subnet.
“Our best-selling and award-winning DMPS3-4K-300-C and DMPS3-4K-200-C just got even better. We’ve replaced them with the new DMPS3-4K-350-C and DMPS3-4K-250-C, which deliver even more functionality and higher performance at the same price as the 300-C and 200-C,” said Rob Carter, Technology Manager, DigitalMedia.
Industry standard for all-in-one presentation systems
The DMPS3-4K-350-C and 250-C combine trusted DigitalMedia technology with an enterprise-grade IP-based 3-Series Control System®, 4K60 multimedia switcher with built-in scaling, mic mixer, and audio DSP in a single rack-mountable package. DMPS3-4K Series deliver bit-for-bit, zero latency HD video switching and display, including HDCP 2.2 protected content. Setup and touch screen control are simple using the web-based configuration tool, with no programming required.
Built-in AirMedia
AirMedia wireless presentation is now built into the DMPS3-4K-350-C and 250-C. Fewer components and cabling make it faster and easier than ever to deploy wired and wireless presentation systems. The new AirMedia has faster video (it even plays encrypted video), lower bandwidth, iOS® and Android™ mirroring, Network Access Control, and much more.
Content LAN
The DMPS3-4K-350-C and 250-C add a third Ethernet port for wireless presentation or H.264 streaming video. That’s in addition to the Control Subnet, which establishes a VLAN for the Crestron devices, separate from the LAN, for faster DM® system updates and troubleshooting.
Higher-powered amp
The DMPS3-4K-350-C and 250-C feature a new higher-powered 50-watt integrated amplifier, enabling them to directly drive a pair of stereo speakers (25 Watts RMS per channel @ 8 Ohms, 4 Ohms tolerant), or a group of distributed ceiling speakers (50 Watts RMS @ 70 or 100 Volts).
Onscreen display
The DMPS3-4K-350-C and 250-C also add onscreen display capability, making it possible to create custom branded welcome screens.
