Crestron Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Its A+ Education Partner Program

Established to support the academic community, the program has facilitated learning using the latest classroom technology in thousands of schools and given back more than $26M toward education

Rockleigh, NJ – April 24, 2017 – Crestron, a global leader in control and automation technology, announced it is commemorating the 20th anniversary of its A+ Education Partner program, which has played an integral role in bringing the latest technology and training to thousands of educational institutions worldwide, and given back more than $26M toward education.
“The Crestron A+ program has been a vital tool in achieving our goals of being a state-of-the-art campus here at Trevecca,” said Eric Smith, Audio Visual Coordinator, Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. “Without it we would have fewer opportunities for training, testing, and deploying new and cutting edge solutions in an economical and responsible fashion. The Crestron A+ program is key for us to continue to push the limits of educational technology and expertise.”
        Grade A+ benefits
Supported by Crestron Regional Education Managers worldwide, the A+ program provides educational institutions with a host of benefits: special pricing on all Crestron products; rewards points on purchases, which can be redeemed to cover travel costs for training at any Crestron office; free system design, specification, and post-installation technical assistance; direct advance replacement on all Crestron products; 5-year direct advance replacement on all DMPS3 Series products; extended warranty on parts and labor from 3-years to 5-years; and direct RMA on all warranty repairs.

        Summum Bonum Awards
To further demonstrate its commitment to education, Crestron created the Summum Bonum Award for Excellence in Teaching, which celebrates passionate teachers from all levels of education. The prestigious annual award recognizes the vital role mentoring plays in the academic and personal development of today's youth and tomorrow's leaders. It’s presented to education professionals with a track record of improving student achievement and making a difference in the lives of their students.

“Crestron is proud to have contributed to the evolution and proliferation of the ‘modern classroom’ through the A+ Education Partner program,” said Roger Takacs, Director, Education Programs. “Crestron technology has driven and continues to drive revolutionary changes in the learning process and enhancements in teacher-student relationships.”
