Provides integrators with high-performance multi-room streaming solution set up right from iPad®
Crestron, a world leader in home automation and control technology, announced today that Autonomic® Mirage Music Players now natively integrate with Crestron Pyng. As a result of this groundbreaking collaboration, integrators can now deliver PANDORA®, Rhapsody®, SiriusXM®, Spotify®, Slacker Radio, Deezer®, TuneIn, and other streaming audio sources to every room in the house without even opening a laptop.
“Crestron Pyng streamlines the setup of home automation technology, including high-fidelity whole-home audio systems,” said Sean Goldstein, VP of Marketing at Crestron. “We’re excited to welcome Autonomic into the “pairs with Pyng” family. Now, homeowners can stream their favorite music throughout the house with Pyng. Setup, create favorites, browse, and play online music services all from Pyng.”
Crestron control technology is built in to Autonomic Mirage Media Server 5A/2A models, enabling native integration into Crestron Pyng. Once the Autonomic component is powered on, it can be paired instantly with Pyng and is ready for complete system set up via iPad. The Crestron TSW touch screens automatically recognize the media server and all the controls instantly appear in the UI. There’s no programming or GUI design required. Once the setup is complete, homeowners can browse all of their streaming music sources and playlists with full metadata right from the Pyng app.
“Just like the Autonomic Mirage Music Player makes it easier to deliver high-performance streaming audio in the home, Crestron Pyng makes it easier to deliver custom home automation,” said Autonomic CEO Michael de Nigris. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Crestron and integrate with Pyng. It’s a great partnership for our companies, and a tremendous value proposition for installers.”
