Crestron Appoints Fred Bargetzi as Chief Technology Officer

VP of Technology steps up to newly created position
Crestron has named Fred Bargetzi Chief Technology Officer, where he will continue to oversee the technology and engineering aspects of the business.
A Long History with the Crestron Family
Bargetzi joined Crestron 25 years ago and has been instrumental in growing and shaping the company to its current role as an industry leader. He has served a number of key positions in the company, from his humble beginnings as an applications engineer to creating and managing a wide variety of departments, including Technical Sales, Training, and R&D.
As the Vice President of Technology for the past 10 years, Bargetzi has been responsible for leading Crestron’s technology strategy in key areas including the new enterprise class .NET control platform, UI and mobile applications, and the industry changing DigitalMedia product line.
A Track Record of Innovation
His current title as CTO combines his engineering expertise with his passion for the business, and solidifies his role in helping drive Crestron’s success into the future.
