Controlling Sunlight in a Glass House
Mar 21, 2018
Located in Warrenton, Virginia, this 10,500 sq. ft. home’s exterior is comprised entirely of glass. This made it critical to find a lighting and shading solution that could efficiently regulate the amount of sunlight entering the space and control solar heat gain, prevent sun fading, and ensure privacy.
Casaplex designed a seamless method of control for the 18 windows and four glass doors throughout the home. Crestron automated shades were installed to provide a functional solution that also complemented the home’s aesthetic.
