4GD Village

Copehill Down Village, located on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, is a purpose-built military training settlement that was constructed in the 1980s to provide a European-style backdrop. Comprised of 82 buildings, the village was designed to simulate realistic urban environments for troops engaging in combat training, reflecting settings relevant to operations during the Cold War and beyond. Today, it continues to serve as a valuable resource for preparing soldiers for complex urban warfare scenarios.
