Our EMEA awards honor dealers in a total of five commercial and residential categories

At long last, they’re back.

Crestron is excited to announce the return of the Europe Integration Awards, which honor the exceptional work of dealers from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. “With the sheer amount of excellent projects that have come to fruition in this part of the world recently, we felt it was time to reintroduce an awards program unique to this segment of Crestron’s global footprint,” says Vice President and General Manager, Crestron Europe Annelies Kampert.

“This program showcases the outstanding integrations that our dealers are creating to meet their clients’ needs,” she adds. “To that end, we’ve created five categories that honor the best use of specific Crestron solutions.”

Entry into the 2024 awards is open to Crestron integrators and programmers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa in the following categories:

  • Best Crestron Ecosystem Project Powered by XiO Cloud® Technology — This category will recognize the most outstanding combination of Crestron solutions, all managed through the XiO Cloud technology operations management platform. While it may seem at first glance that this award is tailored to enterprise entries, projects of every size will be considered.
  • Best Crestron Content Distribution and Control Project — This award will honor the project that best uses Crestron technology to seamlessly distribute content and provide control in a specific environment. It’s a terrific chance for dealers to show the manner in which technologies (such as DM NVX® AV-over-IP) can seamlessly integrate with our control systems for maximum effectiveness and ease of use.
  • Best Crestron Collaboration Project — This category goes to the heart of hybrid work, recognizing the integration that focuses on providing the most equitable collaboration environment for both in-person and remote meeting attendees. We’ll honor the project that ensures that every collaborator can see and be seen, hear and be heard.  
  • Best Crestron High-Impact Space Including Intelligent Video — High-impact spaces are rooms where critical decisions are made or important information is shared, such as boardrooms, auditoriums, training centers — really any key meeting space, even cafeterias.  Deploying intelligent video in these spaces is one of the keys to keeping every participant engaged, with the best possible images and sound of those speaking, presenting, or conversing.
  • Best Crestron Home OS Project — This award will honor the residential project that best utilizes the Crestron Home® OS, Crestron custom solutions, or a combination of both to truly enhance the homeowner’s lived experience. Our residential dealers are committed to creating best-in-class smart homes with intuitive control, outstanding entertainment and environmental technologies, and brilliant automated functions. The winning project will be the supreme expression of that philosophy.

Eligible projects are those completed in the EMEA region between January 1, 2022, and September 30, 2024. Entry deadline extended! The deadline for entries is December 31, 2024, at 11:59 P.M. CET.

Winners will be announced during the ISE® 2025 conference.

Our panel of judges consists of industry experts and media representatives, including:

  • Michael Freter, Senior Sales Director, Integrated Systems Events GmbH
  • Christopher Lavelle, Senior Regional Director (EMEA), AVIXA
  • David Martín, CEO and Publisher, Pressmedia (ISP Integración and Smart Building Mag)
  • Anna Mitchell, Group Publisher, Inavate and Hidden Wires
  • Stijn Ooms, Director of Product Strategy, Crestron

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Overall quality of entry submission
  • Success of the finished project (Did the solution solve the challenge?)
  • Actual end-user satisfaction (as determined by direct quotes from the end user)
  • Uniqueness
  • Visual score (as determined by our judges’ review of imagery and videos)

“We can’t wait to see the entries and the inspiration and creativity expressed by our dealers through these projects,” says Kampert. “These awards will truly showcase the industry-leading excellence of our Crestron integrators.”
