A while back, Crestron’s EVP of Customer Success and Marketing, Brad Hintze, gave us these words in an issue of our Smarter Spaces magazine — he was speaking about something we call “True Blue”:

We embrace new ideas, explore emerging technologies, and collaborate with you to create solutions that redefine what technology can do. That collaborative spirit also extends to our integrators, our partners in the industry, and the culture we’re nurturing inside Crestron.

There’s no better example of the “transformative power of technology” than the spectacular smart homes our Crestron dealers have delivered to their clients. These homes provide extraordinary experiences with tech solutions that literally fade into the background. From entertainment to lighting and shading to wellness and security, our dealers create residential integration projects that are nothing short of magical.

With all that in mind, it’s time once again for us to honor that work with the Crestron Home Technology Awards. For the fourth year running, we’ll be handing out trophies in nine categories that represent the innovation and craftsmanship of our Crestron integrators.

“The awards are a true expression of that ‘True Blue’ spirit,” says Georgio Galaris, manager of residential marketing at Crestron. “It’s a way for us to recognize that we’re a team. After all, we couldn’t be successful without our incredible community of dealers and integrators.”

The online submission form is designed to walk you through the process — but it’s still imperative that entrants are thorough and thoughtful. Answer each question as completely as you can — more details are a plus.

Photos of the project you’re entering are fundamental to the process, as it’s a must that the judging panel can see what they’re grading. Your entry will need to include images no smaller than 300 DPI / 5”x 8” in PNG or JPEG format, complete with photo credits. If professional photography is too time-consuming or cost-prohibitive, smartphone images are acceptable.

If you really want to emphasize just what that smart home can do, including a short video that best showcases your project is incredibly helpful. Please don’t send links to videos, however — those won’t be accepted. Videos no more than five minutes long should be uploaded to the awards site.
