Crestron at InfoComm 2025 — What Happened Beyond the Booth
If you couldn’t make it to Orlando this year, here’s a roundup of what happened

Crestron at InfoComm 2025

Did you attend the InfoComm® 2025 trade show? If not, no worries: for those who couldn’t make it to Orlando this year, here’s a roundup of what happened — complete with presentations you missed.

Crestron has been focusing on presenting our solutions as holistic experiences — it’s an approach we began just a few years ago, and it’s been extremely successful. To sharpen that focus further, we’ve keyed in on three areas that best represent our expertise: content, collaboration, and control. (More on that in a moment.) Those three categories encompass the hardware and software solutions we’re known for, and some new additions to the mix were on display at the booth, including the DM NVX® 384 AV-over-IP Multiview, the Midspan Power Solution for USB-C® connectivity, and our line of 4-Series® Media Presentation Controllers. That’s in addition to products we’d rolled out prior to the show, such as our Automate VX multi-camera speaker tracking solution 6.4 update with Visual AI direction detection-based camera selection and switching, for example.

We covered it all in an AVIXA Backstage Podcast titled “First Look: New from Crestron at InfoComm 2025,” available here. Our “Day One” blog post also detailed the new solutions. As the show got underway, our Global EVP of Marketing, Brad Hintze, appeared live from the Crestron booth on AVIXA TV to help bring it all together for the streaming audience.

Content, Collaboration, Control — and Modern Work

John Hulen, Crestron's director of channel marketing, education, was joined by Senior Director of Product Marketing Joel Mulpeter on the AVIXA Spotlight Stage for a presentation called “Content, Collaboration, & Control: Crestron’s Vision for the Future of AV.” The session explored how AVoIP technology is revolutionizing content delivery, the power of multi-camera experiences and visual AI direction in collaboration, and how Crestron’s open ecosystem ensures intuitive control across third-party brands.

That was immediately followed by a discussion hosted by Craig Durr, Chief Analyst and Founder of The Collab Collective, “The State of Modern Work: Navigating AI, Hybrid Culture, and Industry Shifts in AV.” The panel covered everything from return-to-office policies to the rise of AI-driven innovations, and how professionals must adapt to the new dynamics shaping how we work and collaborate. You can see both sessions here:

What’s Next

In addition to the question, “What’s happening now,” most trade show attendees are also extremely interested in “What’s happening next?” To help bring the next five years into focus, Hintze appeared on the 2030 Vision Keynote “Exploring the Future of Pro AV,” moderated by AVIXA CEO David Labuskes. Part one-on-one conversation and part group discussion, topics included the new push by some companies to return employees to the office, agentic AI, BYO-AI, sustainability, and the growing demand for improved cameras, mics, and control systems. The big takeaway here? “As we release new products, the entire platform improves,” says Hintze. Learn more here:
