The Winners of the 2025 Crestron Commercial Technology Awards

As we noted when we announced these awards back in April:

“When Crestron and our network of loyal dealers put our minds and efforts together, we make incredible things,” says Andy Bennett, Commercial SVP at Crestron. “This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate our dealers’ best work in a variety of verticals.”

And now we’re proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Crestron Commercial Technology Awards. A panel of judges drawn from those with expertise in both Crestron technology and installations in general made their decisions in six categories based on the following criteria:

  • Overall quality of entry submission
  • Did the solution solve the challenge?
  • End user satisfaction (in the end user’s own words)
  • Uniqueness
  • Visual score (Review of imagery and videos)

The winners are:

Best Collaboration Experience

TD Bank Group – TD Terrace Conference Centre Spaces, by GAV MGMT and the TD Enterprise Team for Audio Visual Technology (AVT) - Campus & Retail

GAV MGMT and the TD Enterprise Team for Audio Visual Technology (AVT) — Campus & Retail are recognized for their work at the Conference Centre Spaces on the 4th and 47th floors of TD Terrace, the Bank’s newest flagship office space at 160 Front Street West in Toronto, Canada. To align with the Bank’s hybrid work strategy, Robert Ramlall, Senior Manager, and his team envisioned conference spaces where digital equality was placed at the forefront. Ramlall expressed the need for an intuitive camera system that would elevate the way TD colleagues experience live events and high-profile board meetings while maintaining flexibility to support a multitude of use cases.

GAV MGMT, the TD AVT team, and Crestron’s 1 Beyond Product Engineering team came together to engineer one of the most complex 1 Beyond deployments to date, positioning the TD Terrace Conference Centre Spaces as an industry hub for AV innovation, creativity, and excellence. Donald Nolan, VP of Technology at GAV MGMT, told us these spaces are designed to provide the most intuitive and professional collaboration experiences possible: “These are signature spaces for TD, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the TD team to bring their future-focused vision to life.”

Best Space Management Solution

Gila River Casino by Immedia

For this category, we noted an exceptional deployment that enhances the management, maintenance, and sustainability of building operations. Immedia told us they were tasked with modernizing the casino’s entire AV infrastructure without disrupting ongoing operations. To do that, they tell us, “We deployed a combination of DM NVX encoders/decoders, AV4 processors, and DMF-CI-8 frames to enable IP-based video distribution across the entire property. The XiO Cloud platform allowed centralized control and remote management, making the system easier to monitor and maintain. Staff now control AV throughout the casino, sportsbook, restaurants, and event spaces from one centralized interface — an immediate upgrade from the outdated matrix-switching system.”

Best Control System Design

American Fidelity by Taurus Technologies

This award celebrates the most advanced and efficient control system of the entries received, ensuring seamless operations and user experience. Taurus Technologies notes that, “(Supplemental Benefits Provider) American Fidelity’s primary objective for the space was to create an environment that combined seamless technology integration with a high level of ease of use. While the room’s unique shape, viewing angles, acoustics, and seating arrangement presented certain challenges, we were determined to provide an optimal solution. We meticulously considered factors such as the room’s size, lighting, content sharing capabilities, workflow processes, and future scalability.” The end result met the client’s goals perfectly.

Best Content Application

Delaware Public Health Laboratory Expansion by Assurance Media

Here we recognize the project with the most innovative and engaging content creation and delivery, one that transforms viewing experiences. Assurance Media explains the project: “The lab’s building and expansion was 80% sterile lab space, but there was a need not only for an internal meeting space, but a space and system that would allow the important findings of the lab to be communicated with a myriad of federal partners including the CDC, EPA, and the FDA alongside local partners like laboratories, health professionals, and educational institutions.” The project gave the lab the ability to share all of that critical content in the most user-friendly manner possible — while maintaining incredible reliability in a region susceptible to power outages.

Best Hospitality Project

Renegade by PIVIUM

This award notes the integration of technology to elevate guest experiences, service efficiency, and personalized offerings. The winning project, Hotel Renegade, is a 122-room boutique hotel in downtown Boise, Idaho, that prides itself on exceptional service and amenities. As for PIVIUM, “Our focus was on seamless integration of all Crestron solutions, creating a fully integrated and reliable AV system. As the project evolved, we recognized opportunities to enhance the overall user experience. We proactively worked with the owners to upgrade all of the conference areas with Unified Collaboration systems, portable video systems, wireless presentation systems using AirMedia, and enhanced overall connectivity between all public spaces. We also added streamlined control interfaces and improved sound zoning capabilities.”

Best Innovation in Smart Spaces

IU Health Fairbanks Boardroom Refresh by American Sound

The winning project here combined content, collaboration, and control to create the ultimate smart venue experience. American Sound sums up their achievement: “This room was an aging AV system with minimal video capabilities, lackluster audio, and an old projection screen. IU Health (an Indiana healthcare provider) really wanted to transform the space and modernize it, which involved replacing the projection screen with an LED wall, adding a Crestron Intelligent Video system, and integrating new audio sources and destinations to improve the fidelity of the spoken word in this space. The room was acoustically challenging because of a variety of wood and glass parallel surfaces, but with a combination of good technology and extraordinary commissioning talent, we delivered an excellent system to the customer at the end of the project.”

Congratulations to the winners — and watch this space for more details on all six projects
