Winners of the Crestron 2026 Europe Integration Awards

What does excellence look like?

We’ve got seven fantastic examples.

Crestron is proud to announce the winners of the 2026 Europe Integration Awards. Firms in seven categories have been honored for the best use of Crestron solutions, and these awards again demonstrate how our integrators consistently deliver unparalleled work.

As Annelies Kampert, VP and general manager of Crestron Europe, noted when we announced the award, “Crestron integrators are the heartbeat of our innovation. Their work brings our technology to life in ways that truly transform spaces and experiences.”

“And this is a great opportunity for our integrators to be recognized — and for Crestron to help showcase their achievements to both new and existing clients.”

The winners of the 2026 Europe Integration Awards are:

Best Content Application

The Bloomberg Trading Suite by Roche AV Pro

This award recognizes the most innovative and engaging content creation and delivery, transforming viewing experiences.

The team at Roche AV Pro tells us: “The client’s primary objective was to create a highly functional trading environment capable of supporting real-time financial trading, allowing students to interact with live Bloomberg terminals and analyze complex economic data. Manchester Metropolitan University in Manchester, England, sought a solution that bridged the gap between academic theory and professional practice, giving students practical experience and skills directly applicable to the finance industry. Roche AV Pro was tasked with delivering this vision while ensuring the technology remained intuitive, reliable, and flexible.”

There were numerous challenges, chief among them accommodating 70 student workstations, each featuring dual displays, within a cohesive, open-plan layout that allowed seamless content distribution and easy maintenance. “Additional considerations included enabling workstations to operate independently or mirror instructor content, supporting both collaborative and individual learning,” according to the winning firm.

Here's where the award-winning content application comes in — with the help of Crestron solutions: “To meet these requirements, our team implemented several enhancements throughout the project, including a dedicated collaboration area with a 75” display, AV-over-IP integration to enable flexible content sharing, and a bespoke vertical stock ticker displaying continuously updating global market data.

“Technical hurdles, such as adapting standard horizontal ticker software for vertical operation and ensuring high-quality AV distribution across multiple large-format displays, were overcome through bespoke software development, rigorous testing, and close collaboration with project partners. The result is a resilient, highly flexible learning environment that not only meets the client’s original goals but also delivers an engaging, professional-standard trading experience for students.

“Roche AV Pro delivered a state-of-the-art Bloomberg Trading Suite for Manchester Metropolitan University’s Business School, designed to authentically replicate the energy and functionality of a professional trading floor. The project was initiated to provide students with an immersive, technology-rich learning environment where they could engage with live market data, simulate trading scenarios, and gain Bloomberg certifications to enhance their employability.”

Best Hospitality Project

Rosewood Hotels by Castiglione Del Bosco by Nextdomus Srl

This honor celebrates the integration of technology to elevate guest experiences, service efficiency, and personalized offerings.

The Nextdomus integration team outlines the historic nature of this retrofit: “Rosewood Castiglione del Bosco is not just a hotel; it is a living museum of Tuscan culture and craftsmanship. Located in the UNESCO-protected Val d’Orcia valley in central Italy, this 5,000-acre estate features six suites and 11 meticulously restored villas, former 17th- and 18th-century farmhouses that have been transformed into ultra-private luxury residences.”

The firm outlines the project in this winning entry:

“Each villa is enveloped in nature, art, and centuries-old history, while offering modern comforts like heated infinity pools, curated gardens, and bespoke interiors designed by artisans and Florentine craftsmen. From the outset, the Rosewood development team was clear: technology must enhance the experience, never distract from it.

“Our challenge was to create a uniform technological experience across nine of the estate’s villas — each with its own architectural quirks — while keeping the systems discreet, simple to use, and in line with Rosewood’s brand identity. From lighting design to AV distribution to thermostat placement, every detail was reviewed, tested, and refined. With no two villas alike, our approach had to be flexible, modular, and sensitive to both the building and the guest experience.

“One of the first villas served as our ‘pilot,’ where we performed extensive functional testing and guest simulation. From that foundation, we iterated scene design, UI navigation, and inter-system communication (e.g., between Sonos, Samsung, and the Crestron Home OS). Once the first villa passed all internal acceptance benchmarks, we scaled the configuration and customizations across the other eight. Our role continued beyond deployment — we also trained the estate’s staff, provided custom user guides, and enabled remote support tools to ensure long-term performance.

“The client’s vision extended far beyond simply automating lights or climate systems. Rosewood Castiglione del Bosco wanted each villa to offer an experience that felt simultaneously intimate, luxurious, and effortless — as if the property itself anticipated the needs of its guests. At the same time, operational requirements called for efficient remote management, minimal maintenance, and a consistent backend platform for staff.

Best Innovation in Smart Spaces

Fulham Pier by proAV Limited

This award honors a project that combines content, collaboration, and control to create the ultimate smart venue experience.

The winner in this category, a multi-use venue that acts as a hub for fans of the Fulham Football Club, is a riverside attraction in London, England. As Bekki Hill, director of technology for the Club, tells us, “Fulham Pier represents a new chapter for Fulham Football Club, blending the club’s rich heritage with cutting-edge technology and design. proAV’s work has been crucial in realising our vision for Fulham Pier – not just as a matchday venue, but as a vibrant, multi-use space that connects with our community every day of the week. From the immersive LED walls to the seamlessly integrated event spaces, their attention to detail and responsiveness to our evolving needs have been invaluable. The result is a truly world-class environment that exceeds our expectations.”

The integrator noted one aspect of the award-winning venue that’s especially noteworthy: “The highlight, and our focus of the Crestron Integrator submission is The Orange Box — a reconfigurable, AV-rich space that operates as a matchday fan hub, known as The Dugout, and a flexible event venue. A10.8-metre-wide video wall delivers immersive content, while retractable seating, integrated stage, and agile AV infrastructure allow seamless transitions for private dining, cinema nights, or live performances. Across the venue, content is controlled centrally via an intuitive platform, enabling FFC to deliver a premium and efficient guest experience with minimal staff overhead.”

But the work that proAV did for the venue was hardly limited to The Orange Box, as noted by Glen Sutton, director of Fulham Pier: “Fulham Pier is a collection of exceptional experiences, including amazing entertainment, incredible dining, unique events spaces, wellness, and our cozy hotel. Each of these environments relies on audio-visual assets to deliver the highest level of guest experience — and proAV have allowed us to create an immersive and adaptive environment that delivers for every location within Fulham Pier.”

Best Residential Project

Le Provençal by DOMOTIC

This award celebrates an outstanding residential project that seamlessly integrates technology to enhance comfort, convenience, and lifestyle. This award recognizes environments where smart systems, elegant design, and intuitive control come together to create the ultimate connected home experience.

This MDU project represents the height of historic luxury, as noted by the team from DOMOTIC:
“Le Provençal stands as one of the most ambitious and luxurious residential projects ever developed on the French Riviera, reviving a legendary landmark from the golden age of the Côte d’Azur. During its glamorous past, this iconic former hotel welcomed some of the world’s most celebrated figures, including Pablo Picasso, Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, and Coco Chanel.

“After closing its doors in 1976, Le Provençal had fallen into oblivion until John Caudwell decided to buy it and undertook its full restoration. Caudwell’s ambition was to create the most prestigious residential address on the French Riviera. Overlooking the Mediterranean and surrounded by lush gardens, the 23,000 m² property combines history, emotion, and contemporary refinement.

DOMOTIC brought the property into 2025, transforming a hotel into Crestron-award-winning luxury apartments, as they explain in their submission:

“From a technical point of view, every control had to be intuitive so the user could adjust the scenes easily. We developed bespoke code and graphical interfaces tailored to Le Provençal's brand identity. Customizable scenes, such as lighting, could be modified directly by residents, allowing the environment to adapt to their lifestyle rather than forcing them to adapt to the technology.

“Spaces evolved during the project, from meeting rooms to play areas, from entertainment rooms to fitness areas, requiring significant adaptability. Therefore, we had to reconfigure automation systems, scene programming, and control interfaces accordingly.

“From the very beginning, it was obvious that Crestron was the only technology partner capable of meeting Le Provençal’s requirements, providing uncompromising reliability and unlimited future expandability. This flexibility was essential given the various apartment sizes and tier classifications.

“We designed a base system architecture that allows every residence to evolve seamlessly. Owners can expand their apartments with additional audio zones, advanced home cinema, or other Crestron-controlled equipment without replacing the infrastructure. We were able to create conditional logic and custom macros that corrected failures in external equipment. Crestron allowed us to adapt continuously as project requirements evolved.

“Choosing Crestron technology gave us the confidence to address every challenge with precision. Operators and users alike praise its intuitive, elegant controls that make technology disappear into simplicity.”

Best Collaboration Experience

KPMG HQ by FotoPhono AS

This honor recognizes excellence in creating natural, effective collaboration environments through unified communications and intelligent video platforms.

Here’s an award that goes right to the heart of one of Crestron’s core missions: creating solutions designed to “engineer a culture of collaboration.” FotoPhono delivered just that in this award-winning integration for the Norwegian headquarters of financial service company KPMG.

As FotoPhono noted in their entry:

“The primary goal was to create solutions that were as user-friendly as possible for KPMG employees and visitors. The objective was to deliver a true plug-and-play experience, ensuring that users could utilize meeting rooms and collaboration zones without spending time making multiple selections or navigating complex setups.

“This project stands out as one of the most advanced and technically challenging implementations we have ever delivered. The uniqueness lies in the integration of the Crestron 1 Beyond automated camera control system within rooms that required up to three completely different user configurations — each designed for distinct purposes and workflows. Unlike traditional AV setups, where functionality is relatively uniform, this project demanded a highly adaptable solution capable of delivering a seamless experience across multiple scenarios.

“The complexity was not only in the technology but also in the design approach. We had to ensure that every configuration maintained the same level of simplicity and user-friendliness, despite the underlying sophistication of the system. The client’s goal was clear: create an environment where presenters, participants, and remote attendees could interact effortlessly, without worrying about technical adjustments. To achieve this, we implemented automated camera tracking that dynamically responds to speakers, ensuring smooth transitions and a natural meeting flow.

Moreover, the project required precise coordination between cameras, microphones, and control systems to guarantee flawless automation. Delivering a scalable, future-ready solution that combines cutting-edge functionality with intuitive operation makes this project truly unique. It represents a perfect balance between advanced technology and exceptional user experience — setting a new benchmark for AV integration.

Best Space Management Solution

CFC by Kinly

This nod honors an exceptional deployment that enhances the management, maintenance, and sustainability of building operations.

London-based insurance specialist CFC needed an HQ for the modern worker that “made the commute worth it.” As integration firm Kinly tells us:

“CFC wanted a future-ready headquarters that reflected its technology-first ethos, encouraged employees back to the office, and supported global collaboration. The goal was to create a seamless smart building experience, from QR code-enabled entry and app-based desk booking to advanced meeting spaces with intuitive AV technology. Ultimately, CFC needed a space that would impress clients, empower employees, and showcase its commitment to innovation.

“CFC wanted a workplace that combined premium design with cutting-edge technology. It needed intuitive meeting spaces, consistent user experiences, and smart building features that simplified daily tasks. The technology had to be reliable, scalable, and visually integrated with the interior design.

“Kinly implemented Crestron solutions for room booking, control, and video conferencing, complemented by GoBright for desk booking and floor mapping. We ensured all technology was uniform and aesthetically aligned with the interiors, delivering a consistent experience across multiple floors. The integration extended beyond AV. Employees can book lockers, adjust desk heights, and view real-time floor plans showing where colleagues are seated, all through a single app.

“This project stands out because it goes far beyond a typical AV installation. It is a fully integrated smart building experience designed to futureproof CFC’s operations. The scale and complexity were exceptional: multiple floors, dozens of meeting spaces, and a requirement for seamless integration with both architectural and interior design. What makes it unique is the combination of premium aesthetics and advanced functionality.

“Every element, from Crestron touch panels and booking systems to 1 Beyond intelligent camera tracking, was chosen to deliver a consistent and intuitive experience across all spaces.

“Unlike many projects, this was not a static design. It evolved through constant change management, requiring agility and collaboration across multiple teams. Kinly navigated contractor insolvency, changes in point of contact, and extensive design variations without compromising quality or deadlines. The result is a workplace that feels effortless for users but is underpinned by sophisticated technology and proactive monitoring through Crestron XiO Cloud. This level of integration and resilience sets the project apart as a benchmark for enterprise AV deployments.”

Best Control System Design

4GD Military Training Facility by Nucleus

This award celebrates the most advanced and efficient control system, ensuring seamless operations and user experience.

In perhaps one of the most unique entries into the Crestron Awards, the firm Nucleus took top honors for a military training project. The firm says:

“This project is the full modernization of Copehill Down Village, an 82-building military settlement in southern England used for urban combat training. The goal was to evolve CDV from a static 1980s environment into a fully networked and immersive real-world simulation platform that can operate as a single battlespace or be divided into up to five independent training zones.

“Nucleus designed and is deploying the technical backbone and the control platform that makes that concept operate at village scale.

“The outcome required was not a conventional AV system. The mission was to build a resilient, air-gapped, instructor-driven Crestron platform that can simulate a functioning village during battle conditions. The system had to:

  • Provide training immersion for CT1 to CT3 (“collective training” levels: CT1 is Platoons, CT2 is for Companies, and CT3 involves Battlegroups) including battalion scale deployment,
  • Allow instructors to control the entire village from a tablet interface anywhere on-site,
  • Operate fully air-gapped for multi-day exercises,
  • Support hundreds of Dante® audio channels and village-wide Crestron DM NAX® Audio-over-IP distribution,
  • Transport CCTV and visuals via Crestron DM NVX® AV-over-IP to a central command space and zonal AAR rooms, and
  • Create automation logic that mimics real-world life battle patterns, such as light states, ambience, alarms, and event triggers that respond to training activity.

“In simple terms, the goal was to turn an abandoned village into a real-time controllable training organism. Crestron is the core of that system.

“As the project evolved, additional capabilities were introduced to increase realism and instruction efficiency. That includes:

  • Proprietary village-wide ‘Pattern of Life’ mode to simulate a functioning community during exercises,
  • Smoke machine integration to Crestron control for breach and casualty simulation,
  • Intelligent lighting responses based on event triggers,
  • Instructor interface consistency at all scales (village, zone, building), and
  • Real-time power control logic and kill switches for scenario reset.

“Each addition was designed for operational relevance and to keep instructors in control without needing specialist technical skills.

“The challenge was to make a village behave like a live environment under instructor control. The solution was to make Crestron the site's nervous system.”

As Annelies Kampert notes, “We believe in celebrating the integrators who push boundaries — those who combine creativity, precision, and passion to deliver truly exceptional results.” That’s precisely what these awards are all about.
