There’s a renewed focus at Crestron on what one might call “blocking and tackling”— what are the fundamentals? What are we known for?

What do we do best?

The answer’s taken the form of what we call the “three Cs:” Content, Control, and Collaboration. The bulk of our solutions can be sorted into one (or more) of those categories. The trick here is, of course, to answer these questions: Do we need a new solution in that particular category? Can we refine and evolve an existing solution? And ultimately, how can we make that solution a best-in-class product?

For this particular product release, the focus is collaboration. And to that end, we’re proud to introduce the new AirMedia® Connect Endpoint (AM-TX3-200).

Connectivity in a New Form Factor

We previewed the device at the ISE® 2025 Expo with a bit of historical context:

A while back, we rolled out the AirMedia® Connect Adaptor (AM-TX3-100), a plug-and-play solution that allows you to present or host a meeting from your personal device — in any space — offering a simple experience free from software or drivers.

Now, the new AirMedia Connect Endpoint (AM-TX3-200) builds upon and extends the reach of the AirMedia Connect Adaptor, offering additional device and network connectivity in a new form factor. Meeting participants can securely connect using the wired or wireless method that works best for them: the AirMedia application, native presentation methods, or an AirMedia Connect device. With the AirMedia Connect Endpoint, users can enjoy the simplicity of a USB-C® or HDMI® + USB-A connection without worrying about network names, passwords, or connection instructions. Its form factor makes it a perfect fit in podiums or under tables, and it’s got a range of power options: PoE, DC, or USB-C connectivity.

More Options

Because the AirMedia Connect Endpoint extends the reach of a presentation from anywhere in a meeting room, it acts as something of a “supercharger” for AirMedia technology. It also expands the flexibility of the AirMedia® Connect Adaptor (and a variety of presentation systems) because it works over wireless and wired networks. That latter feature broadens access in larger meeting rooms while maintaining hardwired endpoints.

Key Features at a Glance

In addition to the benefits mentioned above, the solution’s key features include:

  • Wired and wireless connectivity. Just select the right network connectivity method between the AirMedia® Connect Endpoint and Receiver to meet your network and security requirements. The AirMedia Connect Endpoint offers point-to-point direct Wi-Fi® connectivity, the ability to join an existing Wi-Fi network or a wired network connection.
  • Simple connection to users' devices. The AirMedia Connect Endpoint offers simple, streamlined connectivity to a variety of devices, all without drivers, software, or installation. You can use a single USB-C® connection for both presentation and conferencing or use HDMI® and USB-A for connecting other devices that don’t have USB-C connectivity (or that don’t support USB-C DisplayPort Alt-Mode).
  • Flexible power options. You can deploy the AirMedia Connect Endpoint using the best power option for the space, whether that’s PoE power for devices that use a wired network connection, a local DC power supply (which also provides PoE+ to a connected device such as a touch panel), or USB-C power from the laptop connected to the USB-C port for presentation or conferencing (just like the AirMedia Connect Adaptor).
  • A versatile form factor. The device's design makes it flexible and unobtrusive — and it’s easily installed in a podium or under a table.
