        These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration, attendance, and participation in the Crestron Next Virtual Event (the “Event”).  Please read these Terms carefully.

        1.   Registration

        1.1   To attend the Event, you must be at least 18 years old and have an official Crestron Next registration.

        1.2   Only individuals may register to attend the Event.

        1.3   You agree to maintain and provide to Crestron accurate, current, and complete registration information.

        1.4   You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your password. You will immediately notify Crestron of any unauthorized use of your login credential, including your password.

        1.5   Crestron may update or modify these Terms from time to time, by posting updated Terms on the Event or registration platform, or by otherwise communicating them to you.  Your continued attendance at the Event following the posting or other communication of such updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of such updated Terms.

        1.6   Your registration for and participation in the Event is at the sole discretion of Crestron. Crestron may modify, limit, or terminate your access to the Event at any time for any reason.

        2.   Privacy Policy

        2.1   By registering for the Event and submitting your information to Crestron through the registration portal, you consent to the use of that information as set forth in Crestron’s Privacy Policy, which can be found  at: www.crestron.com/legal/privacy-policy

        2.2   Additionally, the Event is being hosted on the Pathable virtual event platform. In order to login and attend the Event, you must also agree to Pathable’s Terms and Conditions, which can be found at https://pathable.com/terms-conditions/ and Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://pathable.com/privacy-policy/.

        2.3   Your attendance of Event meetings and other Event activities constitutes your agreement to Crestron’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of your image or voice in screen shots, video recordings, electronic reproductions, or audio recordings of such.

        2.4   Your access to and participation in the Event will be monitored by Crestron without advance notice to you.

        3.   Obligations and Restrictions

        3.1   Due to the sensitive nature of new products and unique booth displays at the Event, screen shots and/or video recording of any presentation and/or virtual booth by you is prohibited. 

        3.2   When attending the Event, you must comply with all applicable laws, including federal, state, and local laws, the laws of your jurisdiction, and laws regarding the transmission of technical data and/or personally identifiable information.

        3.3   You shall not:

        a.   attempt to access the Event using any method other than the interface and instructions that Crestron provides;

        b.   access or attempt to access the Event using login credentials other than your own; and/or

        c.   share your login credentials with others or allow others to access or attempt to access the Event with your login credentials

        d.   take any action that imposes or may impose (as determined by Crestron in its sole discretion) an unreasonable or disproportionately large burden on the Event’s infrastructure;

        e.   circumvent any measure Crestron may use to prevent or restrict access to restricted portions of the Event;

        f.    interfere or attempt to interfere in any way with the proper working of the Event;

        g.   display, send, receive, or store obscene or inappropriate content;

        h.   violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws;

        i.   advertise, promote, endorse, or market, directly or indirectly, any third-party commercial products, services, solutions, or other technologies;

        j.   attempt to collect, store, or publish personally identifiable information without the owner’s knowledge and consent;

        k.   distribute unwanted, unsolicited, or harassing mass email or other messages, promotions, advertising, or solicitations (“spam”);

        l.   send deceptive or false source-identifying information, including “spoofing” or “phishing”;

        m.   access or use any application, system, service, tool, data, account, network, or content without authorization or for unintended purposes;

        n.   disable, disrupt, circumvent, interfere with, or otherwise violate the security of the Event;

        o.   attack, abuse, interfere with, intercept, disrupt, or exploit any users, systems, or services, regardless of how accomplished and notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms, including but not limited to Denial of Service (DoS), monitoring, crawling, spamming, using bots or scripts, or distributing malware (such as viruses, Trojan horses, worms, spyware, or adware);

        p.   engage in or promote any illegal or criminal activity such as child pornography, gambling, or piracy; and/or

        q.   authorize, permit, enable, induce, or encourage any third party to do any of the above.
         

        3.4   If you violate any of these Terms, your access to the Event may be terminated immediately and without notice.

        4.   Harassment Statement. This statement applies to all participants in the Event, including without limitation; all personnel, speakers, staff, volunteers, guests, and attendees.

        4.1   Crestron is committed to providing a professional environment free from physical, psychological, and verbal harassment. Crestron will not tolerate harassment of any kind, including but not limited to harassment based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, physical appearance, gender, or sexual orientation. This policy applies to all participants and attendees at all Crestron live and virtual conferences, meetings, and events. Harassment includes offensive gestures and verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, inappropriate photography and recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical or virtual contact, and unwelcome attention.  Anyone requested to cease harassing behavior is expected to comply immediately, and failure will serve as grounds for immediate revocation of access to the Event.

        4.2   All participants in the Event are encouraged, but not required, to inform the harasser that their conduct is unwelcome. Regardless of whether the harasser is directly confronted, all participants must promptly report the conduct to Crestron Event management to enable the Crestron to investigate and address the conduct. Crestron staff will assist those experiencing harassment to enable them to feel safe for the duration of the Event.

        4.3   When notified of individuals engaging in harassing behavior, Crestron may take any action it deems appropriate, ranging from a simple warning to expulsion from the current and/or future Crestron meetings, conferences, and events. Decisions to ban individuals from future Crestron events is in the sole discretion of Crestron.

        5.   Limitation of Liability

        5.1   Crestron has attempted to provide accurate information in the preparation of the content of this Event; however, Crestron disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, as to the accuracy of all information contained or presented in connection with the Event.

        5.2   These Terms only cover registration, attendance, and participation in the Event. Hypertext or other links available on the Event or registration platform may lead to websites which are not under the control of Crestron. Any other websites to which you link may be governed by their own terms and conditions. Crestron accepts no responsibility or liability with respect to the material on any website which is not controlled by Crestron.

        6.   Disclaimer

        6.1   The Event and its content are provided “as is” and Crestron disclaims any warranties, express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property relating to the Event. To the extent permitted under applicable law, Crestron shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, including without limitation, consequential, special, indirect, or incidental damages, loss of profits or revenues, or damages resulting from use of or reliance on the Event, or its contents.

        7.   Content Ownership and Trademark Information

        7.1   All content from the Event, including without limitation, product information, spec sheets, images, videos, and product guides, unless otherwise noted, is copyrighted by Crestron, and may not be reproduced, republished, or posted, without the express written consent of Crestron. You agree not to adapt, alter, or create any derivative work from any material from the Event, or to restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of the Event by anyone else. You are not permitted to create any link to or from the Event or its contents without Crestron’s express prior written consent.

        7.2   The Event and its contents include brand names, product names, and trademarks belonging to Crestron and other parties. Certain trademarks, registered trademarks, and trade names may be used in connection with the Event to refer to either the entities claiming the marks and names or their products. Crestron disclaims any proprietary interest in the marks and names of others. Crestron is not responsible for errors in typography or photography.
