Course Overview/Syllabus

This 3-day class is specifically designed for Prodigy® Dealers who are new to Crestron. The class will cover configuring, wiring, connecting, installing, loading, testing, and troubleshooting a Crestron Prodigy control system. Students will build a simple home theater system and then add to it audio distribution. Next, the project will then be opened in SystemBuilder™ and enhanced with custom logic. Students will then learn how to modify the interfaces using VT Pro-e®. The class will also teach how to learn IR codes using Crestron IR Learner software. Finally, students will learn how to troubleshoot a Prodigy system using Crestron Toolbox™.

Prodigy Composer must be downloaded and installed prior to class. We recommend running one of the installs below the day before you attend class to make sure you have the latest software:
