Example Programs - Most Recent

Below are example programs for Crestron products. These example programs should be used to learn how to program a product. They can also be used to help trouble shoot an installed system.

These files are in SIMPL Windows® (.SMW) and VisionTools® Pro-e (.VTP) format. Most files have been compressed into ZIP format for faster downloading. If you do not have a file decompression utility to open ZIP files, you can download them for free from our Site Tools page. page.

AMS-AIP 24 Room Demo
Models Included: AMS-AIP

This program implements a Theater and up to a 24 room Adagio AMS-AIP audio distribution system, with installed ATC-AMFMSR AM/FM/Sirius tuner card, and an ATC-AMFMXM AM/FM/XM tuner card. An APAD and C2N-DB12 keypad has been included for control of each of the 24 rooms. In addition, a TPS-4L is included for control of Room 1. An APAD, a TPMC-4X, a TPMC-8x and another TPS-4L are included for control of the theater. Interfaces for rooms 13-24 are initially commented out. This program contains a default IP Table. When loading the system, be sure to load the Default IP Table when prompted by Toolbox. Also be sure to configure the IP tables for the AAS, CEN-ISERVER, CEN-IDOCV, CEN-IDOCV-DSW and ethernet touchpanels to point to the AMS-AIP system. The correct IPIDs are shown below. This program also utilizes an On-Screen Display which can be navigated using a Crestron ML-600 remote.

CEN-IDOCV-DSW example program

This program implements a CEN-IDOCV-DSW through a PRO2 control unit. The system has been designed to utilize a TPMC-8X, TPS-6X, TPMC-4XG, and an APAD for user interfaces. This program contains a default IP Table. When loading the system, be sure to load the Default IP Table when prompted by Toolbox. Also be sure to configure the IP tables on the CEN-IDOCV-DSW and ethernet touch panels to point to the PRO2. The correct IPIDs are shown below

CEN-IDOCV Demo Program

This program implements a CEN-IDOCV through a PRO2 control unit. The system has been designed to utilize a TPMC-8X, TPS-6X, TPMC-4XG, and an APAD for user interfaces. This program contains a default IP Table. When loading the system, be sure to load the Default IP Table when prompted by Toolbox. Also be sure to configure the IP tables on the CEN-IDOCV and ethernet touch panels to point to the PRO2. The correct IPIDs are shown below. The program was designed and tested with firmware version 1.005.0003 for the CEN-IDOCV.

MLX-2 Demo Program

This program implements the use of an MLX-2 remote within a Theater and up to 24 room Adagio AMS-AIP audio distribution system, which includes control of an ATC-AMFMSR AM/FM/Sirius tuner card, and an ATC-AMFMXM AM/FM/XM tuner card. Included are controls for a Blu ray player, an Adagio Audio Server, a TV/DVR, and an iDoc.

CEN-TRACK Demo with a PRO2
Models Included: CEN-TRACK

Destiny Template. Example program for the CEN-TRACK with a PRO2. Includes VT Pro files for TPS-4, APAD, TPMC-4X, TPMC-8X, TPS-3000 and (800x600) X-panel. Requires SIMPL Windows 2.10.25 and VT Pro 3.7.2.8 or later.

CEN-NVS100 Sample Program

This program implements a CEN-NVS100 through a PRO2 control unit. The system has been designed to utilize a TPMC-8X and TPMC-4XG for user interfaces. The program was designed and tested with firmware version 100i of the CEN-NVS100 and control processors with firmware version later than 4.001.xxxx
