Example Programs
Below are example programs for Crestron products. These example programs should be used to learn how to program a product. They can also be used to help trouble shoot an installed system.
These files are in SIMPL Windows® (.SMW) and VisionTools® Pro-e (.VTP) format. Most files have been compressed into ZIP format for faster downloading. If you do not have a file decompression utility to open ZIP files, you can download them for free from our Site Tools page.

Note: This program implements a Theater and up to a 24 room Adagio AMS audio distribution system, which includes control of an ATC-AMFMSR AM/FM/Sirius tuner card, and an ATC-AMFMXM AM/FM/XM tuner card. An APAD and C2N-DB12 keypad has been included for control of each of the 24 rooms. In addition, a TPS-4L is included for control of Room 1. An APAD, a TPMC-4X and another TPS-4L are included for control of the theater. Interfaces for rooms 13-24 are initially commented out.

Note: This program implements a theater and 4 rooms of Adagio AMS-AIP distributed audio, which includes control of an ATC-AMFMXM AM/FM/XM tuner card and an ATC-AMFMSR AM/FM/Sirius tuner card. Control for an AAS-1, CEN-IDOC, Dish Network HD-DVR satellite receiver, HD-DVD player (Microsoft XBOX 360), Denon Multi-Disc CD Changer and a Sony television.

Note: Advanced Example - This is a Simpl Windows program with a PRO2 as the processor. It demonstrates how to create more complex projects with serial indirect text fields. This dynamic, logic driven interface design goes to the other extreme. The APAD's VT Pro-e project is a one-page project with a variety of sub-pages. All APAD button labels are driven through logic as serial text. It also provides a few more examples of how to use the "Scrolling List (cm)", as well as additional examples of dynamic text fields that are driven from the APAD Knob.

Note: Basic Example - This is a Simpl Windows program with a PRO2 as the processor. It demonstrates how to create basic pages with static text and page flips for project navigation. It also provides a few examples of how to use the "Scrolling List (cm)".
