Installation of a DigitalMedia system is actually very simple. It's not much different than a traditional analog-only system. Crestron DM Cable may look like standard CAT5 cable, but it's not. This is exclusively engineered infrastructure designed for long-distance transmission of all analog and HD digital AV signals (including Deep Color, 1440p and 3D), Ethernet and USB over a single wire. DM Cable also handles all the Embedded data in HDMI and DisplayPort signals, such as HDMI, EDID and CEC.

Crestron QuickPacks are bundled presentation systems that are simple to install and easy to use. QuickPacks come with all you need to get a presentation system in any classroom up and running; no programming or training required.
QuickPacks consist of a room controller, audio amplifier, speakers, input wall plates, cables and mounting hardware, including projector mount. Simply add your choice of video projector, screen and AV sources, enter them into the QuickPacks software wizard, and you're done. With simple, labeled button presses, instructors can power on the projector, choose the video or computer source and adjust volume.

Crestron and Texas Instruments have partnered to embed Crestron control inside the TI DLP chip set to enable direct communication with RoomView Express software. Crestron enabled DLP projectors from Ben Q, 3M, Dell and many others, connect to the network and can connect directly with RoomView without a control system or programming. Monitor, manage and control all "direct connect" projectors throughout a building, campus or global organization with RoomView from any computer or laptop. Logging, reporting and even emergency messaging is easily generated directly from RoomView.

This new touchpanel operates in two modes, provides direct Ethernet connectivity with RoomView. "Room Scheduling Mode" identifies real-time room status and enables touchscreen booking capability throughout the enterprise. High-speed Ethernet and PoE (Power over Ethernet) means 1 CAT5e provides power and connection to the network. A variety of mounts provide the flexibility to place the TPMC-4SM on glass, dry-wall, and even the tabletop. Connected to a Crestron control system, the TPMC-4SM operates in "Touchpanel Mode", delivering complete in-room integration and control.
