The QM-DA-2 is a 2-output QuickMedia distribution amplifier designed to split a single QM signal to feed 2 QuickMedia Receivers. It provides a simple solution for integrating a video touchpanel into any QM system simply by inserting the QM-DA-2 into the QM line feeding the display. All signal distribution is handled over inexpensive CAT5e type cable[1] via the Crestron exclusive QuickMedia transport, supporting high-resolution RGB, video, stereo audio and microphone signals up to a total of 450 feet end-to-end.

Up to two QuickMedia Distribution Amplifiers, Matrix Switchers, and Distribution Centers may be cascaded in a given QuickMedia signal path[1] to support versatile system configurations. Each QuickMedia port is accompanied by a Cresnet® port with 24V DC power distribution built in to simplify termination of the QuickMedia and Cresnet wiring.
