Crestron's wireless mesh networking technology eliminates the need for physical control wiring. Utilizing an embedded 2.4 GHz 2-way RF wireless network, providing more stable, reliable communications over larger areas without adding additional gateways, infiNET is a simple, cost-effective solution for retrofit and landmark installations.

Each device on the network is both a receiver and a repeater, strengthening the system as it grows. This new, robust technology provides the perfect solution for applications in which wire cannot be easily pulled. No additional cabling is necessary, so walls and other physical structures remain intact, greatly reducing installation time and expense. Adding, removing or relocating control devices in an existing installation is just as easy.

Improving on other mesh network technologies, infiNET operates on all sixteen channels of the 2.4 GHz band rather than just three channels. Built-in Dynamic Frequency Allocation enables infiNET devices to automatically and continually scan RF network traffic, selecting the clearest communication path. This ensures the fastest, most secure and reliable system control.

Crestron infiNET also features a built-in spectrum analyzer for quick, easy and reliable system installation. Utilizing the native spectrum analyzer, installers can monitor the RF activity throughout a space during system set-up, selecting the best possible locations for gateways and devices. As with all Crestron devices, once connected to the network, each device can be monitored remotely.
