We would like to thank everyone who took the time out of their busy schedules to honor us with their submissions. It was a privilege and an inspiration to see what is being done with the technology out in the field and the awesome projects that resulted.
Upon final tally, we received more than 120 entries from 25 states and 3 countries, representing over 25 million dollars worth of equipment. Choosing just one winner for each category was very difficult. The winners are truly the best of the best.

HD video distribution, secure, wireless access throughout and energy management were key elements in this ultimate home. 90 keypads control over 500 fixtures and many doors and gates are controlled. A 16-camera security system is remotely accessible from any touchpanel or as a picture in picture on the displays. There are 25 zones of HVAC control with varying schedules. The kids get access, but the maximum volume levels, lighting scenes and presets keep them under control, too!

This 27,000 square foot home is part of a century-old converted factory complex. Custom, automated shades cover a 100 foot long "wall of windows" in the combination kitchen/family room that includes an exotic glass art collection.

As part of a complete home integration project, Magic Homes provided easy-to-use Crestron control for over 1.5 million dollars worth of fountains! Integration required the ability to issue commands and monitor status for fountain parameters such as high and low water levels, flames, light (including light shows) and color. And it's all set to music!

The 50,000 square foot clubhouse of this Pulte Homes-built active adult community has 54 zones of audio, powered by nine Adagio Expanders that independently access Crestron audio servers, radio tuners, and iPod docking stations. Crestron's 7.1 surround sound system provides optimum quality for a variety of room configurations, while a separate 12 zone distribution system provides music to the tennis courts.

A client's love of classic cars was the inspiration for this interface design, which features a wooden dashboard highlighted by pearl ivory gauges. Definitive Sound worked with a local graphic design firm to create this original and attractive interface they call "Old School," the result of hours upon hours of looking at car dashboards! Every page is consistent and intuitive.

This Victorian home was remodeled six years ago, and last year Spearit Sound was brought in to give it a technology facelift, removing an existing AMX control system. Now, all subsystems are controlled by Crestron and perform exactly as the owner had specified. Family members have their personal satellite or cable DVR boxes, music server, and DVD players available throughout the home thanks to the PVIDs and BIPAD8s, and anyone can adjust the pool temperature without going outside to do it.

This was the first of hopefully many Crestron projects for Premier Sight and Sound. The scope of this lighting project included every light in every room, every exhaust fan, every ceiling fan, and 60 motorized shades: 279 loads, connected to 40 CLX modules in five CAEN enclosures. Control is achieved via one of 90 Cameo flush keypads or one of 12 Isys wireless touchpanels.

This 1100+ square foot home theater has a 12-foot ceiling and 21 seats. Its high end electronics, lighting, HVAC and motorized drapery are all controlled by one MT-1000C MiniTouch wireless touchpanel. The two equipment racks, projector, and lighting loads are in an equipment area hidden behind the bar, and the speakers are concealed behind acoustical panels.
