Innovative Design

There were a few truly unique applications of Crestron technology. This year's winner used Crestron sensors, relays, camera control and touchpanels to create an automated driveway alert system. Using wireless RF transmission located in the attic, a series of events are triggered when a vehicle drives up the 1/8-mile driveway. The sensors trigger a WAV file alert on the touchpanels and switches the video display window to camera #1. A timed event triggers the video to switch to camera #2. Finally, a third camera view is display and then times out, and reverts to the main display after a few minutes.
