A challenging project that delivers real benefits due to C-Max Systems' highly structured approach. The judges felt that the team has created a fully integrated control system to deliver an astonishingly simple to operate, yet complex set-up for this stylish and modern family home.
Encompassing all disciplines from access control, CCTV and security, to lighting control, access to TV, film and music from anywhere on the property, automated ventilation and even baby monitoring, this system is a fine example of true integration.
This inventive solution is a beautiful example of DigitalMedia™ technology in action. A superb system installed without compromise in a large classically-styled home. A choice of 16 HD video sources and 16 audio sources can be easily distributed to any of the 29 displays and 40 pairs of loudspeakers throughout the property. A DigitalMedia installation of extraordinary detail and design, with every small touch meticulously calculated.

Smartcomm has created a home theatre to rival the local Odeon (a commercial theatre chain). Inside is some of the best technology available, creating the ultimate home entertainment experience. A Crestron control system serves as the 'brain' and provides effortless control of all integrated devices in the room.
A TPS-6X provides a simple user-interface for adults and children to easily access their favorite movies or music with the touch of a button. Crestron's iLux CLS-C6 lighting control system offers the perfect solution to create optimal lighting and ambiance.

This project stood out for its variety of light sources and custom lighting effects. ClearSphere designed a Crestron lighting control system which enhances the atmosphere with sensational lighting scenes, while minimizing energy consumption through custom presets and efficient dimming. The entire property is a Crestron-based, high-tech home with an environmental conscience.
"Energy efficiency was a real priority for this project. The Crestron lighting and environmental control systems play a key role in ensuring energy is not wasted and utility costs are kept to a minimum," says ClearSphere's Alistair Ingram. "We work hard to give all our installations that extra 'wow-factor', and it means a lot to be recognized by an industry leader like Crestron."
Moving from an initial request to upgrade Sky to Sky HD and distribute the feed around this Cornish property, LairdKing inspired its client to think beyond these modest ambitions. The result is a fully integrated Crestron system that can be accessed even when the owner is away from home in Australia.
As the project opened with the installation of a new HD cabling infrastructure, the existing lighting system was replaced. Integrated Crestron control technology was installed to provide simple operation of the extensive audio/video system, lighting control, HVAC and security systems.

This self-build project demonstrates E-Life pushing the boundaries of smart home technology to deliver a state-of-the-art building control system, combined with a high end audio/video features. Crestron control and touchpanels provide the family with subtle control of the wide array of equipment.
"To win such a prestigious award is a fantastic achievement for the E-Life team. Every project member was committed to delivering one of our best installations to date," adds Kevin Clayton of e-Life. "This was a real milestone in our goal to become a key player in the custom installation market, and we will continue to push the boundaries."
This significant Crestron project delivers an incredible home technology system for one of the world's most exclusive penthouse apartments. The system connects the client's homes around the world and in London, controlling three 52" outdoor screens, 20 indoor TVs and the top two penthouse floors, plus two basement floors.
Car lifts, spa equipment, a telepresence from Cisco, video conferencing suites, CCTV intruder alarms and perimeter protection, and the roof top terrace are all easily controlled with a fully-integrated Crestron system and intuitive touchpanel control.
At this sky-high London apartment, with spectacular views of the cityscape, an intuitive, easy-to-operate Crestron system integrates all the AV, lighting, HVAC, access control and security systems with control provided by Crestron's TPS-6L touchpanels.
Ease of use was a key factor on this project, so simple touchscreen layouts and engraved buttons prevailed. Prestige Audio effectively integrated operation of a private Otis elevator with the Crestron control system. If the 'goodbye' button is pressed on exiting, the elevator is called, the lights are dimmed to off, and the alarm is armed. The reverse occurs when the owner returns home and hails the elevator.

As the first DigitalMedia™ installation in the UK, this project was truly innovative. The integration of DigitalMedia technology enables seamless and pure HD digital audio and video distribution to eight LCD displays and audio zones throughout this luxurious London townhouse. Whole house touchpanel control is enabled by nine Crestron touchpanels, making this home automation installation a true one-of-a-kind.

Recognizing creativity in touchpanel design, this project provided a fine example of control technology that is easy to operate and highly intuitive. The Crestron touchpanel interface is tailored for simplicity. Clean and uncluttered, the interface can be understood at first glance by anyone who uses the AV and entertainment equipment.
While a tough choice for the judges, Ultamation owner, Oliver Hall, said, "We're absolutely delighted to have won the category of Most Creative GUI. Crestron's products provide a rare opportunity to blend artistic and technical effort to create intuitive, fun-to-use interfaces. To have your work recognized in such a way is tremendous."
This gorgeous villa was equipped with a variety of audio and video technology, even in the sauna area. It boasts a drop down, ceiling-mounted plasma screen and surround sound audio system to provide a non-intrusive entertainment atmosphere. With great attention to detail, this project is a wonderful example of Crestron integrators at work abroad.
