Inside the bustling Crestron booth at CEDIA EXPO 2012, custom integrators experienced firsthand how the world of home automation is evolving at lightning speed. The event's largest and busiest booth was jam packed from start to finish. With hundreds of tours each day and thousands of eager attendees clamoring to see the latest innovations from the industry leader, Crestron did not disappoint. In real life home settings, Crestron demonstrated the hottest Integrated by Design™ home technology, highlighted by its all-new Crestron Studio-Home Designer™ software, Shading Solutions, and TSW tablet-style touch screens.
Crestron products were recognized with eight industry awards - including the prestigious CEDIA Product Hall of Fame award - the most of any exhibitor. The legendary VideoTouch™ VT-3000, introduced in 1995, was the first touchscreen control panel to integrate video, color, and computer graphics into one panel. In addition, 21 of 26 CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles® Designer Award winners were Crestron installations. These influential awards recognize the best of the best in home automation design and implementation.
