Crestron Total Home Technology, the premier brand of custom home automation, introduces its signature series of home entertainment systems. Adagio.
Adagio allows you to enjoy your music your way. Imagine all your family's music - CDs, MP3s, satellite radio- everything brought together in a single system and accessible from anywhere in your home. Listening to music should be this easy. With Adagio, it is.
And audio is just the beginning.
From simple to sophisticated, Adagio starts as a complete, integrated audio distribution system, but offers the expandability and connectivity of Crestron Total Home Technology. Add Crestron touchpanels, lighting and thermostats at any time. Whether as a stand-alone system or a part of a larger custom home solution, Adagio offers simple installation and an enhanced user experience. No other audio distribution system provides the flexibility and expandability of Adagio.
Adagio provides basic out-of-the-box functionality. Ask your Crestron provider about available packages and custom solutions.
New from Crestron, Adagio™ delivers a complete, cost-effective solution for high-performance multi-room audio distribution. Right out-of-the-box, the AADS Audio Distribution System and AES Entertainment System each provide sophisticated audio signal routing, processing, and amplification for up to 6 rooms, with easy expansion using the AAE Audio Expander.
A choice of integrated AM/FM and XM Satellite Radio on the AADS, or modular AM/FM, XM and Sirius Satellite Radio tuner cards on the AES, let listeners in each room choose from their favorite radio stations. Plug-and-play compatibility with Crestron's AAS Audio Server and Apple's® iPod® delivers easy access to an entire CD collection's worth of music.
As the centerpiece for any home audio system, the AAS Audio Server provides an easy way to store and catalog a complete music collection, with instant access to any album or track from touchpanels, keypads and computers throughout the home.
The AAS Audio Server is a hard disk based audio system that can store hundreds of hours of music, all with the convenience of easy browsing and instant access. Displayed on a video monitor, Web browser, or Crestron touchpanel, the friendly onscreen menu shows full album, track, and artist names as well as album cover art. The AAS even lets you listen to your music on any computer and transfer tracks to portable devices using Windows Media® Player or Apple® iTunes®.
The AAS lets you organize and control your music collection the way you want it. Using playlists, the AAS can be customized to suit the individual tastes of each family member, with the ability to compile different playlists for different moods and occasions. And with up to 4 discrete stereo outputs, the AAS can play four different tracks in four different rooms at once, all with audiophile quality.
Also available, the PowerFile R200DL lets you easily rip an entire 200 disc CD collection in a single operation. Makes loading the AAS easy and efficient.

Product Reviews
Test Reports: Adagio Entertainment System
The easiest audio distribution system we've ever installed, with formidable power and pedigree to take you way beyond music. This system surprised and impressed me in a number of ways. Interestingly, even though it installs easily, Adagio is not meant for end-user installation - Crestron intends it to be sold, installed and serviced through their dealer channel. While it's not as inexpensive as a typical audio distribution system, its potential automation capabilities make it a down right steal.
