Crestron today announced that the new Essence™ and Aspire™ speakers, the latest addition to its sweet sounding easy-to-install speaker line, are now shipping. In addition to their sonic excellence, Aspire and Essence are designed with the busy installer in mind.

Featuring an innovative toggle clamp mounting system, clean installations are now quick and easy so installers can get in and out of their jobs faster. Interior designers will also love the minimalist zero-bezel grille design that lets these powerhouse decibel carriers remain virtually invisible in ceilings or on walls.

3-point, spring-loaded toggle clamp mounting system
For fast, clean, no-hassle installations. Ingenious toggle clamps hold the speaker in place making it easy for the installer to fasten to desired location in wall or ceiling. No more juggling acts on ladders.

Aspire - superior sound quality and construction
Woven poly-glass composite woofers produce a rich low end, while the 1-inch synthetic polymer dome tweeters sing out crisp, soaring highs and stacattos. Offset post-mounted tweeters reduce midrange frequency response anomalies for undistorted sound and punch.

Essence - for the unrepentant audiophile
Essence speakers take over where Aspire leaves off. Adding top shelf components like woven Kevlar® woofers to deliver deep, defined low end, as the large 1.1 inch advanced synthetic polymer dome tweeters accentuate crisp, fluent highs, articulate midrange, and provide consistent coverage across a wider listening area. Premium cast aluminum woofer baskets assure pure, uncolored bass response. In-ceiling models include both round and square zero-bezel grilles to match light fixtures or décor.

Ear candy cranking power
Make your favorite artists, melodies, and movies come to life at any volume you desire. Precisely tuned 4th order crossovers ensure a full, warm response across the spectrum and professional quality sound every time. Handles an impressive 100-175 watts of power (depending on model and size) with a wide frequency response.

A symphonic speaker for any installation
Great sound meets installation versatility. Essence and Aspire are sold in pairs* and available in both in-ceiling (round) and in-wall (rectangular) models. Choose from three popular sizes: 5.25", 6.5" and 8". (*Aspire 8" 2-Way Single-Point Stereo In-Ceiling Speaker is sold individually).

Optional bracket templates for new construction
In preparation for speaker installation during the building or renovation phase, our handy speaker bracket templates are designed for attaching to framed walls and ceilings prior to installing drywall.
