Crestron Helps Macworld Attendees Avoid the Multiple App Trap
Crestron Mobile Pro® unifies control of all home technologies and utilities into just one app
For the second year in a row, Crestron exhibited at Macworld/iWorld in San Francisco and received wide acclaim from show attendees. Under the slogan, "Control Everything. All From One App," Crestron demonstrated the Crestron Mobile Pro® app, which gives customers complete control over their home or workplace. They can turn on TVs, dim lights, adjust the thermostats, and much more - all from their iPhone® or iPad® anytime, anywhere. The Mobile Pro app proved to be the perfect solution for Apple® fans looking to avoid the multiple app trap, and instead, manage and control their home systems from a single dashboard.
"Customers already experience the 'multiple app trap' and want a solution to consolidate all of their apps," said Sean Goldstein, Crestron VP of Marketing. "Our app eliminates the hassle of switching back and forth between a dozen apps to control everything in the home, office, classroom, or yacht. With one app and a Crestron control system, we enable complete control."
Crestron's Macworld appearance generated big buzz in the press, too, kick-started by a special press-only event where attendees could control the different technology in the virtual home, boardroom, lecture hall, and yacht. On the first day of the show, Crestron hosted a press conference and lunch to discuss avoiding the "multiple app trap." During the packed event, Crestron Solutions Manager, Delia Hansen outlined the evolution of technology, prevalence of mobile apps, and solution provided by the Crestron Mobile Pro app.
"There are millions of apps and managing the apps is a real problem. I'm glad that Crestron came up with something that can manage all of these different apps in a single view to make my life easier," said Greg Viloria, Co-Host and Staff Writer for Nerd Stalker Media. "The iPhone and iPad have given us a vehicle to actually leave the home, and with the Crestron app, still be connected to what's going on at home."
On the show floor, the Crestron kiosk in the Appalooza Showcase proved to be one of the most popular. Crestron welcomed hundreds of visitors interested in learning more about how they could control everything and avoid the multiple app trap.
