Crestron Expands CEDIA EXPO Booth to Demonstrate New Line of Motorized Shades

Shade exhibit showcases plug-and-play integration with Crestron lighting, AV, HVAC and more as part of a complete home automation solution

Crestron will be raising the curtain on its new complete line of silent motorized roller shades, Roman shades and drapery track systems in its biggest booth ever at CEDIA EXPO 2012. Featuring its new low voltage Quiet Motor Technology™ (QMT™), Crestron shades are silent, operate smoothly and seamlessly integrate with Crestron AV and control products from touch screens, keypads, remotes and Apple® or Android™ smart devices. Only Crestron Shading Solutions bring together designer shading with electric lighting, AV, climate and security control for complete, integrated, intuitive home management.

"Since announcing the line in July, we've received a phenomenal response with hundreds of dealers expressing interest in selling our shading solutions," said Crestron VP of Marketing, Sean Goldstein. "As a result, we increased the size of our existing CEDIA booth so dealers can experience our extensive array of shading solutions for themselves. Dealers can see firsthand the fabric selections, motors, brackets, sales tools and other resources available."

There are more than 400 fabric selections to choose from, including transparent, translucent, and blackout shades, plus complementary brackets and accessories such as the Décor Series, Designer Cassette Series and Architectural Series.

"We invite attendees to bring their clients to our booth where they can see them working in a fully integrated home environment," added Goldstein. "Plus, stay and learn more about our vast fabric options, how to get started selling our shades, and how to integrate them with the Crestron system."

"When you can directly talk to the shades, feedback becomes much more accurate and response time becomes faster. It's a simpler operation for programmers and installers, and it gives the clients a better solution."
