Crestron Introduces the Isys™ TPS-3000 Touchpanel at INFOCOMM 2002
"Mini-tilt" model of the award-winning Isys line of touchpanels offers all the benefits of its larger siblings, with optional rotating base and "hatchback" for cable management
LAS VEGAS, INFOCOMM 2002 (Booth 13058) - Crestron has chosen INFOCOMM 2002 to introduce the newest member of the Isys line of advanced touchpanels, the TPS-3000.
The new TPS-3000 is not only the newest addition to the award-winning signature family of Crestron touchpanels, it's also the smallest of the table-top versions. It packs all the power and performance of an Isys panel in a compact, stylish "mini-tilt" model that offers amazing ergonomics and one-hand control.
Featuring a 6.4" active matrix display that provides the finest quality video and graphics available on a screen of its size, the TPS-3000 features the 64,000-color Isys engine which allows all graphics to be displayed with incredible brightness and depth.
Multiple graphics can be displayed on the TPS-3000 without any shift in color depth or quality. The newest Isys panel also supports real-time video as standard and can accommodate balanced or unbalanced video, S-Video or composite.
The TPS-3000's audio capabilities include stereo audio speakers that offer built-in volume control, a built-in microphone and built-in WAV sound file capability.
A truly global touchpanel, the TPS-3000 places centralized, fingertip control of any device including integration and control of audio, video, computer, the Internet and more. With eye-catching good looks, revolutionary modular design and full Internet compatibility, the TPS-3000 touchpanel is a living symbol of Crestron ingenuity and innovation.
Also new for INFOCOMM, Crestron is introducing two options for the TPS-3000.
Unique rotating base
This handy accessory for the TPS-3000 tile model reduces the chance of theft while improving viewing convenience. Complete with the right hardware, the rotating base mounts on the desktop, in a lectern or conference table and accommodates surfaces of varying thickness. It rotates 330 degrees and compensates for varying surface angles.
"Hatchback"
Used with or without the rotating base, this sleekly designed "hatchback" option is ideal for cable management. It neatly covers panel connections completely and includes wire strain relief. The "hatchback" ensures that unauthorized users cannot disconnect the panel.
