Located in Austin, TX, the home was originally built in the 1980's and featured a few audio zones with volume controls and cable boxes in each TV area. Service Tech retrofitted all new audio, video and network wiring. Crestron Prodigy® was a natural fit for control as it offered flexibility in programming and an intuitive user interface. The Prodigy processor and handheld remote gave the homeowners a luxurious AV solution that is straightforward and convenient.
The 14,500 square foot Mediterranean-style home has Crestron integrated systems, 191 lighting loads, 33 audio zones, 19 video zones, 10 HVAC zones, 12 intercom zones, and 24 paging zones. DES developed HomeSuite to control the home onsite or remotely. Featuring drag-and-drop functionality on a floor plan-based interface, the app controls audio, HVAC, lighting, paging, intercom, security and surveillance. The development of the app provides the clients with similar control functions across all control devices so they don't have to learn an entirely new system.
Bri-Tech Inc. was tasked with bringing cutting-edge technology to a beautiful 2,200 square foot penthouse located in a historic landmark on Wall Street. The system includes Crestron audio distribution, Crestron DigitalMedia™, media management, power management, lighting, shade and climate control. The home is controlled from six iPads, two smart phones and Crestron in-wall and table top touch screens. The client can access his house from anywhere in the world from his 3G iPad 2®.
Using Crestron Mobile Pro® G app for the iPad®, HiTech Lifestyle designed an interface that allows full control of Crestron distributed audio and video, lighting and motorized shades from six iPads throughout the luxurious ocean front condo. Global lighting presets and shade control are available on any screen. The screen interface was designed to use graphics and layout that allow rotation of the iPad to support both landscape and portrait view. Two iPads were installed as elegant in-wall touch panels and four iPads were designed to be portable.
Creative Systems completed a whole house Crestron system in a large historic property located in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania. The owners provided the vision and gave Creative Systems the ability to design a Crestron system that met their needs. The project consists of 52 independent zones of audio, three surround sound systems, a dedicated theater, underwater pool speakers, four zones of landscape audio and more. Creative Systems gave the homeowner the ability to select entire floors, and turn them ON or OFF for entertaining.
The 17,000 square foot European-style estate combines elegance and leisure, featuring a dedicated home theater, indoor pool with water slide and grotto with fiber optic lighting. The client wanted a clean, simple lighting control keypad with easy-to-read buttons. Taking advantage of Crestron lighting control flexibility, Lifestyle Electronics created a hybrid lighting system that combines centralized dimming modules and Cameo® in-wall lighting dimmers. The Crestron lighting system is programmed to turn off unused lights at night, and limits maximum levels of any incandescent load to 90%, vastly reducing energy consumed and prolonging the life of the lamps, which reduces maintenance costs.
The complete Crestron system in this 10,000 square foot home features a Crestron DigitalMedia™ system with 16 video displays that receive feeds from 10 satellite receivers, five Blu-ray® players, CCTV DVR, iPod® dock, and Crestron DVPHD multi-window video processor. The client can control video via 17 Crestron touch screens or 11 handheld remotes throughout the home. The project delivered an intuitive and reliable system that family members and guests can use without prior experience.
The Beverly Hills home remodel features a Crestron lighting system and AV integration that maximizes the entertainment experience in the backyard. DSI Entertainment was tasked with integrating and controlling landscape lighting, pool lighting and lighting for the largest pop-jet water/ light show system ever installed in a residence. The elements were tied together in one easy-to-use interface controlled via Crestron touch screens and keypads. The client can control pool and spa lights, change the color of the lights and control the light show. A portable LCD television plugs into carefully placed video jacks for outdoor TV viewing.
The Maryland residence features geothermal heated and cooled HVAC system, which is controlled entirely by Crestron processing, climate sensing and switching. Casaplex can monitor the power consumption of the HVAC system. This allows Casaplex to automate the home to perform operations such as opening skylights to allow heat to exhaust, open drapes to allow heat in during the winter, and close them to keep rooms cool in the summer. Sensors on windows and doors are programmed to alert the homeowners when inefficiencies are detected.
Marathon Coach's Crestron-equipped bus conversion has all the amenities of a luxury condo in a 348 square foot mobile space. Crestron controlled features include AV, four HVAC zones, dimmable lights, electric shades, TV lifts, power systems and tank levels. AV systems include dual HD satellite receivers, Blu-ray® player, DVD/CD changer, HDTV set-top boxes switched to 4 HD zones in up to 1080p resolution and a Crestron DigitalMedia™ digital switcher. The system can control the generator and monitor all major power management functions. GPS can also be displayed via the Crestron touch screen in the cockpit.
Trump buildings have become the standard of luxury living. Trump Tower III in Sunny, Isles beach Florida is no different. Advanced Home Theater designed a smart amenities panel using Crestron touch screens in each of the condos 297 units. All panels are controlled via seven Crestron processors which are stored in the condos equipment room. The smart amenities panel control allows residents to request the following: their car from valet, concierge, maintenance service, beach chairs to be reserved, current weather conditions and a five-day forecast. Building management can send messages to all or individual touch screens.
Metro Custom Installations, Inc. was tasked with creating an environment that would provide a Staten Island wounded veteran who is a quadriplegic, with a home that gives him the independence he deserves. With the Crestron system, Metro Custom Installations was able to provide whole house AV, lighting and HVAC control via the Apple® iPad®. The system also lowers his cabinetry and oven, giving the client accessibility to his home amenities. This project was very unique given that the veteran had to be able to use the system with his prosthetic hand.
A University of Notre Dame alumnus and former football player, the owner tasked Integrated Electronic Solutions with creating a unique dedicated home theater and media room featuring the latest AV technology that provides an authentic stadium experience. Crestron ADMS Intermedia Delivery System™ and Crestron iLux™ Integrated Lighting System deliver the ultimate entertainment experience. The client is delighted with the ease of use, functions and entertainment flexibility that Crestron provides. Integrated Electronic Solutions captured the theme and feeling of "being at the game."
The client is a huge football fan. Crestron DVPHD multi-window video processor offer the best viewing experience on game day. Crestron PROCISE surround sound processor completes the cinematic experience. The homeowner uses a TPMC-3X for simple channel surfing and a TPMC-8X for more detailed control of DVPHD. Every aspect of the room is controlled by Crestron, including all lighting, heating and air.
Sublime Integration was tasked with providing an excellent gaming experience, 3D capability, and outstanding cinema experience. The media room is an extension of the whole house distribution system and includes control via Crestron touch screens, iPad2® and Cameo® keypads. Audio processing and calibration is accomplished with Crestron PROCISE™ surround sound and Crestron DigitalMedia™ handles HD cable TV and distributed video sources. The AV capabilities combine with the interior design create a breathtaking cinema experience.
Advanced Home Theater retrofitted the yacht in West Palm Beach, Florida with a Crestron DigitalMedia™ system. During the integration of the system, Advanced Home Theater also added more Crestron touch screens for additional convenience and control. The Crestron system controls audio, video, satellite boxes, motorized shades, lighting, and TV lifts across 32 zones. There are now 17 Crestron touch screens and 2 waterproof remotes disbursed across the 78.5 meter mega yacht.
The Cabo San Lucas, Mexico beach house features Crestron control, multi-zone audio, thermostats, Crestron DigitalMedia™, network video streaming for a CCTV system, and two in ceiling display lifts. All audio and video sources are centralized, for a clean home installation. Access to the security cameras, especially in the pool area, provides peace of mind to the homeowners who have three small children. The home is controlled from nine iPads with the same configuration, to provide a consistent user experience. The client can even control their pool and Jacuzzi, providing full control of temperature, filters, pool lighting and waterfalls.
The 18,000 square foot Tuscan-inspired home features six Crestron processors controlling 168 zones of Crestron lighting, 96 channels of audio and 25 thermostats for HVAC, fish tank and wine cellar. The homeowner upgraded to Crestron DigitalMedia™ for HD video distribution. The state-of-the-art theater features Crestron DVPHD to allow viewing of 4 simultaneous sources. The system provides complete remote control of the 500 gallon fish tank, monitoring of car collection, Koi pond, and personal items via Crestron Mobile Pro™ G app for the iPad™.
Located on an oceanfront bluff, the Malibu Beach House features a full-scale Crestron automated system. The client wanted easy, simple, state-of-the-art technology on a budget. Signals Audio/Video stretched and maximized the budget by automating everything from fireplaces, gates, HVAC, pool and fountains to distributed audio and video, local room controls, and sitting room wine cellar that converts into a dedicated theater with 3D gaming. Signals Audio/Video provided a seamless AV design that met all of their client's demands.
The 9,000+ square foot Manhattan residence featured multiple standalone systems requiring separate controls for AV, lighting, shades, HVAC, surveillance and intercom. Osbee was tasked with integrating all systems while showcasing the homeowner's world-class art collection. Multiple in-wall V-Panel™ displays provide intuitive control for all of the automated home systems including five processors, 98 loads of lighting, seven groups of motorized shades, three motorized drapery tracks, nine CCTV cameras, three DigitalMedia™ video zones, six HD video sources, five audio sources, 16 audio zones, eight HVAC zones, two video door phones, and two electronic door strikes for entry into the house and vestibule.
This 14,000 square foot mountain residence features Crestron whole house audio and distributed video, Crestron lighting and shade control, security and surveillance, radiant heating and forced air, and pool control. There are 29 zones of audio and 16 zones of video, with 15 touch screens, 16 remotes, and three hidden TV's with automated lifts to appear and disappear at the owner's discretion. A full Crestron DigitalMedia™ system provides 1080p video distribution to every TV. The Crestron system integrates all 30 rooms in the home including a state-of-the-art gym, sports bar, home theater, indoor spa, outdoor pool area, and deck.
